Three researchers participated in the Arctic Science Summit Week 2017 (ASSW 2017), held in Prague, Czech Republic from March 31 to April 8.

The Artic Science Summit Week (ASSW) is an annual gathering of the international organizations engaged in supporting and facilitating Arctic research. The theme of 2017 is "A dynamic Arctic in Global Change", which is composed of 28 sessions.

The researchers made emphasis on the sessions of The State of Arctic Glaciers and Ice Caps, Arctic Clouds, Aerosols and Climate Effects and Changes in Arctic Spring as Observed in NY-Alesund, Svalbard. They gave 1 oral presentation and 1 poster in the meeting, and made full discussions about changes in Greenland ice sheets,  response characteristics of ice and snow environment in Svalbard as well as the Multidisciplinary drifting Observatory for the Study of Arctic Climate (MOSAiC) with other participants.
