CACSM research team visited Chulalongkorn University, Thailand

Prof. WANG Zemin and Prof. PANG Xiaoping led a research team to visit Chulalongkorn University, Thailan from March 10 to March 14, 2019. Chulalongkorn University is the top university in Thailand, and its department of Surveying and Mapping ranks number one in the geomatics field of Thailand.

During the academic visit, Prof. Chalermchon Satirapod from the department of Surveying and Mapping introduced the research progress of engineering and surveying in Chulalongkorn University. Prof. AI Songtao and Prof. ZHOU Chunxia shared the achievements of CACSM in geospatial information as well as polar surveying and mapping. The two sides further discussed the cooperation plan and signed a bilateral agreement, focusing on polar surveying and mapping research, field work, information sharing, and academic exchanges.
