Prof. LI Fei and Dr. Paul Morin from the United States have been appointed as the new Chief Officers of the Standing Committee on Antarctic Geographic Information (SCAGI) in the SCAGI 2020 Meets held online from July 29 to 31, 2020.
Prof. LI Fei stresses that a key priority is to continue to deliver and develop SCAGI products so that they remain useful and relevant for the Antarctic Community. Another key priority for SCAGI is to use National Reports to provide a structure for sharing news about current work. He hopes this will lead to sharing of data and fruitful collaboration.
