Two expeditioners from CACSM set out with the 32th Chinese Antarctic Expedition team

The vice-director, Prof. Wang Zemin made farewell to the expeditioners of CACSM

 

On January 7th, 2015, the 32th Chinese Antarctic scientific expedition team left Shanghai by the “Snowdragon”. In the team two members were from CACSM. Dr. Ke Hao will get to the Kunlun Station in the top area and participate in the surveying and mapping of the Antarctic inland. The postgraduate Xiao Chi will carry out the winter task, including observations of the GNSS tracking station and the tide system in the Zhongshan station, Antarctica.

As far as we know, the site of the fifth Antarctic expedition station of China will be determined in the 32th expedition by concerning the results of previous site selection work in Ross Vitoria and proposing new choices in this expedition.
