XUELONG arrived at Fremantle for supply

The icebreaker XUELONG arrived at the port city Fremantle in the west of Australia on November 20.
Fremantle is an important port for scientific research ships of many countries to get supplies in their round trips to the Antarctica. As scheduled, XUELONG will be supplied with equipment, fuel, fresh water and life necessities. Another 30 expeditioners will also gather there to take the ship to the Antarctica. In addtion, the expedition team will help Australia to transport cargoes from Fremantle to the Antarctic Casey Station.
It is learned that, XUELONG will stay at Fremantle for 4 days and then continue its navigation. It is scheduled to arrvie in the Antarctic Zhongshan Station around December 8.
