CACSM sent teachers and students to Shanghai for CSPS 2015

The China Symposium on Polar Science 2015 (CSPS 2015) was held in Shanghai on September 24 and 25. The symposium, with the theme of “Polar Research in the Coming Decade”, is constituted of invited speeches, hot-spots discussions and parallel sessions.

Discussions were made on polar snow, ice and climate change, polar ocean and sea ice, polar atmospheric and space physics, Antarctica astronomical, polar ecology and biodiversity, polar remote sensing and geodesy, polar strategic research, polar aerolite and geology, as well as polar environment monitoring, information integration and sharing.

Prof. Li Fei, the director of CACSM, acts as the member of the Scientific Committee for the symposium. More than 20 teachers and postgraduates from CACSM attended the symposium, and 14 of them gave oral presentations.
