Antarctic Center of Surveying and Mapping (CACSM) was
established in 1991 with the formal dispatch of Chinese
Arctic and Antarctic Administration, SOA. and State
Bureau of Surveying and Mapping. As a special polar
scientific institution, it takes on the implementation
of the surveying and mapping for Chinese National Polar
Research Expedition, the polar information science research
in surveying, mapping and remote sensing, meanwhile,
takes charge of national and international academic
communication in geodesy and geomatics.
