Mr. Sergey Gancharav from Russian Geographical Society visited CACSM

On Dec. 16, Mr. Sergey Gancharav, from Russian Geographical Society visited CACSM. He introduced the Russia's geographical research in the Arctic; the background of Russian Geographical Society; the history, geography and ecology of Russia Arctic area; as well as some Arctic research projects jointly operated by China and Russia.

Mr. Sergey Gancharav also discussed with teachers and students of CACSM about the sharing of the Arctic atlas and data, and the exchange of researchers between two sides in the future. He expressed the intention to enhance the cooperation on Arctic research between Russian Geographical Society and Wuhan Univeristy.
